Our commitment to celebrating love and our unique African heritage led to the annual "African Love" capsule collection in collaboration with ALÁRA Lagos. Together with Alara, we gather under the banner of our shared heritage, draped in the fabrics that tell our stories, our struggles and our triumphs.
In addition to reimagined fabric from last year’s “African Love” asoebi drop, we are excited to unveil a captivating documentary. This documentary embodies the joy, unity and festivity that make up African love stories. Through intimate interviews and captivating visuals, our documentary serves as a heartfelt tribute to the essence of African love and the cherished Aso Ebi culture.
To culminate our celebration of African love and heritage, friends and family of waf. and Alara came together in our signature asoebi fabric. It was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, music and great company. The live band, Noname, kicked off with soft tunes to ease guests into the festivities after which DJs OOO and Kemkem ushered in the night with nostalgic party favourites that got everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor.
From the vibrant asoebi to the nostalgic music, the African Love celebration was one for the books.
