waf. brought the heat to Paddington Stadium Surulere for the annual Cross Sports event held in memory of Bai Joiner, our dear brother and friend. For this year's edition of Cross Sports, we collaborated with South African football streetwear brand, Kasi Flavour10, for a memorable game that crossed football with skateboarding. The two teams were made up of eight players (six football players and two skateboarders) with at least one female player for either sport. In an intense match that ended 8-6, Kasi Flavour10 emerged victorious after four quarters, each lasting 15 minutes.
With sponsorship from Adidas and DSTV and refreshments supplied by Chicken Republic, the Cross Sports event was a huge success and strengthened the spirit of community and collaboration.
